Outbackjack LLC AKA The Turd Herder is looking for a Seasonal Water and Wastewater Technician.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Job Description
Septic Systems:
- Septic Tank Pumping
- Septic System Inspections
- Septic System Installation and Repair
- Lift Station Maintenance, Pump Replacement
Excavation:
- Installation of Septic Systems
- Repair and Installation of Sewer Lines, Clean Out Installation
- Locating of Sewer and Septic Systems
- Equipment Repair and Maintenance
- Hauling of Materials and Equipment Mobilization With Dump Truck
- Equipment Operation, 080 Excavator and 097 Skid Steer, Compactor, etc…
Jet Trailer:
- Sewer Line Jetting Cleaning and Unclogging
- Root Cutting, Sewer Drum Work
- Sewer Camera Work
- Sewer Line Locating
- Equipment Repair and Maintenance
We are an emergency service and as such hours may vary, including weekends and Holidays.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Clean Driving Record Required
- Class A CDL or Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement Preferred
- Pass Drug Test if Required
- Septic Tank Pumping Experience
- Basic Knowledge of Plumbing and Electrical systems
- Heavy Equipment Operating
- Equipment Repair and Maintenance
- Knowledge of Excavation
- Knowledge of Septic Systems Function and Installation
- NAWT Certification in Septic Cleaning or ability to obtain as soon as possible
- NAWT Certification in Septic System Inspection or ability to obtain as soon as possible
Pay and Compensation:
Starting wage of up to $35/hr. depending on experience, paid as salary.
The job is considered seasonal, starting May 1, 2025, running through October 31, 2025.
Potential 401K and paid vacation after meeting required criteria.
