Outbackjack LLC AKA The Turd Herder is looking for a full-time technician.  Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

Job Description

1. Septic tank pumping, hauling, and dumping of septic tank waste.  Certified septic system inspections.
2. Sewer line troubleshooting.  Diagnose sewer line problems.  Working inside homes to unclog sink and sewer service lines.  Jetting and root cutting, camera sewer lines to identify any structural issues.
3. Excavation: Repair and replacement of sewer lines, septic tanks, and full septic systems. Replacement of lift station pumps and piping.  Installation of new sewer lines and cleanouts.  Building soil treatment areas.
4. Mobilization and hauling of equipment and material.
5. Operation of backhoe, excavator, skid steer, dump truck.
6. Equipment maintenance

Qualifications:

1. Clean driving record. Commercial driver’s license minimum of a Class B with air brakes and tanker endorsement, Class A preferred, or ability to get within reasonable timeframe.
2. Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge
3. Experience with septic systems, installation and maintenance, sewer lift stations
4. Physical ability to lift heavy septic tank lids, and labor on excavations
5. NAWT Certification as septic inspector and septic pumper or ability to certify upon hire
6. Experience operating heavy equipment

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay will be based on qualifications and experience.  Starting pay $25.00-$30.00/hr.

Accrued sick time 1 hour per 30 hours worked up to 48 hrs. per year

401K available after required time on the job

Paid time off 40 hrs. per year after 6 months on the job
